List With Ripple privacy policy

List With Ripple is a Chrome extension used by The Fertility Foundation's charity shop team to list items for sale on marketplaces (eBay, Vinted, Depop, Facebook Marketplace and Causee), keep stock in step between them, and record sales.

What it handles

• Your shop's items: titles, descriptions, prices, photos, SKUs, item specifics, costs and sales records that you enter or that it reads from your own marketplace listings.
• Marketplace pages: it fills in and reads listing forms and your own shop's listing pages on the marketplaces above, in your browser, while you are signed in to them.
• Sign-in status: it checks whether you are signed in to each marketplace by the presence of that site's sign-in cookie. It never reads, stores or sends cookie values or your marketplace passwords.
• eBay connection: eBay's own sign-in gives the shop's account an access token, used only to list, update and end the shop's eBay listings and read its orders and fees.
• Team accounts: the name and email address of each team member who signs in to the shop's Ripple online server.

Where it goes

• Your data is kept in Chrome on your computer and on the shop's own Ripple online server (hosted by the shop), so the team's computers and phones share it.
• Item photos may be sent to Anthropic's Claude API when you ask Ripple to write a listing with AI, and to the marketplaces you choose to list on.
• Nothing is sold, shared with advertisers, or used for anything other than running the shop's listings.

Google Analytics (Ripple website only)

• The Ripple website (app.listwithripple.com) can use Google Analytics to count which of its pages are used, so Ripple can be improved. It runs only if you press Accept on the cookie message; Reject, or no answer, means it isn't used.
• It records page names and general details such as device type and rough location; never your items, photos, sales, sign-ins or anything you type. Google keeps this under its own privacy policy.
• The Chrome extension never uses Google Analytics.
• Cookie choices to change your answer on this device.

Your choices

• Sign out of Ripple online, disconnect a marketplace, or remove the extension at any time. Removing it deletes the data it keeps in Chrome.
• The shop's owner can remove a team member's access and delete items or the whole shop's data on the server.
